This Printed Thing is a small, family-run 3D print farm in Toquerville, Utah — a little town in the southern corner of the state with considerably more red rock than people.
What We Do
We run a fleet of 3D printers that turn spools of plastic into articulated fidget toys, desk signs, planters, and the occasional seasonal oddity. Everything in the shop is printed in-house, inspected by hand, and packed by an actual human who cares whether it arrives in one piece.
Some of our products are our own ideas. Others are printed under license from independent designers we admire — the people dreaming up the delightfully weird stuff we never would have thought of ourselves. Supporting small designers is part of the fun.
How We Print
Most of our products are printed in PLA, a plant-based plastic that is sturdy, light, and available in every color we can justify buying. Many of our toys are printed fully assembled — joints and all — using a technique called print-in-place. If you are curious how any of that works, we write about it regularly on This Printed Blog.
Where We Ship
We currently ship anywhere in the United States, straight from southern Utah. Orders are printed to order or pulled from small batches, so you are never getting something that sat in a warehouse for a year.
